Microsoft Windows Infrastructure is the combination of all the Windows services required to implement a functioning Windows network. Notable examples are Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Security, Certificate Services, File and Print Services, Virtualization, Remote Desktop Services. Inceptio delivers architecting, redesign, assessment, deployment, migration, upgrade, integration, management, optimization, troubleshooting, automation, education, and workshops in the Windows Infrastructure area.
Serving as the core foundation for user authentication and authorization in a Microsoft-based infrastructure, Active Directory is a key area of focus for us. We work closely with our customers when designing, deploying, maintaining and managing Active Directory installations to ensure that it functions as intended.
This applies to both the technical implementation of Active Directory as well as the organizational requirements for structure, permissions delegation etc.
As most technologies, Windows-based infrastructure often needs to interface to various other systems and platforms, providing authentication & authorization, data integration and other services to other parts of the IT infrastructure.
We can assist with the integration between the various components that make up the Windows infrastructure and third-party systems, platform or services.
With security being a necessity in any IT deployment, Inceptio provides a variety of services relating to IT security in a Microsoft-based environment.
As well as Windows Server components such as Network Policy Server, Certificate Services (PKI), we work with the Forefront security product portfolio (Client and Server Security, Threat Management Gateway, Unified Access Gateway), and various third party products which complement Microsoft’s offerings.
